Since then, the Hervé family and their allies have given the town a countless number of elected representatives, mayors or town councillors.It was a cooper by the name of Edmond Olier who replanted the vineyards after they were wiped out by phylloxera. The very first châ；teau bottling dates back to 1890, which is almost certainly a record in the Fronsac region.
